Lady Antebellum Reveal “What I’m Leaving For” As New Single

Lady Antebellum continue to embrace everything that life has to offer with the release of their new single "What I'm Leaving For." Following their 10th career chart-topper and GOLD certified hit "What If I Never Get Over You," the heartfelt single is the second release from their No. One album OCEAN and expands on the universal message of making sacrifices for the people you love. Produced by Dann Huff, the "tear-jerking tribute" (Rolling Stone) serves as a touching portrait of people who support their families while being apart. "What I'm Leaving For" will impact Country radio on Feb 18 and is available at all digital retailers here.

"This song really describes exactly where we're at in our lives and the give and take to try to find a personal balance with career and family," Hillary Scott said. "Whether you are in the military, returning from maternity leave or just experiencing those tender-hearted ‘goodbyes’ we hope it resonates and evokes a piece of comfort in the example we set for our children."

"What I'm Leaving For" has been touted as standout track from OCEAN, as Lady A "highlights their signature trade-off technique" (US Weekly) while they "strike deep emotional cords," (People). Co-written by Sam Ellis, Micah Premnath and Laura Veltz, the new single "beautifully sums how the trio’s approach to career and touring has shifted" (Music Row) from "arguably the finest album of the band's career" (Nashville Scene).
